While she may greet new faces with a few protective barks (she takes her role as head of household very seriously!), she warms up quickly and has never shown any signs of nipping or biting—even during her sassiest barking sessions. She just wants to make sure you know there’s a guest in the house!

He’s working on crate and house training and doing great for such a young pup. Chocolate Chip is up to date on shots, microchipped, and not yet neutered.

Male - 5 Years - Chihuahua

Chico is a very sweet little dog, and his foster family absolutely adores him! He is such a good boy, and is ready to find his perfect forever family. Chico came from Louisiana where unfortunately he was dumped and left behind by his former “family.” Thankfully, volunteers were able to catch him, (after a long chase!) and place him into foster care, eventually making it to WI! He is a very lucky little guy.

Chico loves to cuddle, once he’s opened up. He starts off slightly unsure, but with a little treat and a little patience, he became one of our best fosters. He gets a short burst of energy, and loves to play, either playing with a tug toy or retrieving a ball. But it isn’t long before he’s is right back for a little nap under the covers, in true chihuahua fashion.

Chico has been around kids, birds, and other dogs with no issues.

Chico is up to date on shots, microchipped, and he is neutered. He does very well in a crate at night and he is already potty trained!!
